What happened today
Bigg Boss Tamil 10 is trending because the regular host, Vijay Sethupathi, is reportedly not handling this weekend’s episodes. Actor Ramya Krishnan has been shown in a newly released promo and is expected to step in.
As of 24 October 2026, the replacement has become the main search topic because viewers want to know whether this is only for one weekend or for more episodes.
Why viewers are searching
Reports say Vijay Sethupathi has been unwell for the past two weeks, but there is no official medical statement confirming that explanation. That uncertainty is one reason the story is drawing attention.
Another reason people are searching is the speculation around a reported ‘red card’ controversy involving TTF Vasan and contestant Mukesh. This has appeared in entertainment reports, but it has not been officially confirmed as the reason for the host change.
Background on the host change
Vijay Sethupathi has hosted Bigg Boss Tamil since Season 8, after Kamal Haasan presented the first seven seasons. That makes any change in his appearance especially noticeable to regular viewers.
Vijay Television’s official social-media post promoted the episode for 9:30 p.m., which added to the immediate buzz around Ramya Krishnan’s appearance and the weekend episode.
What to watch next
The key question now is whether Ramya Krishnan is a temporary substitute or will host additional episodes. Reports do not confirm that yet.
Viewers are also watching for whether the weekend episode addresses the TTF Vasan-related controversy or a red card decision. As of 24 October 2026, that part remains speculation rather than confirmed fact.
