Why Call of Duty: Mobile is trending

This is not a small content drop. The announcement combines a seventh-anniversary season, a major map addition, and a clearly timed rollout, all of which make it highly searchable right now.

The update is being published by Activision for Call of Duty: Mobile, and the official messaging highlights both the anniversary milestone and the Verdansk launch.

What is new in the update

Battle Royale is being revised in several ways, including parachutes replacing wingsuits in Verdansk, updated movement and airborne controls, third-person animations, shoulder-bashing doors, teammate dragging during revives, and in-match contracts.

Verdansk will also appear in DMZ: Recon, along with a new boss and contract, so the map has a role beyond standard Battle Royale.

Key dates and numbers to know

Two Mythic Drops are also mentioned: “Means to an End” and “Botanist.” These are part of the new seasonal content around the launch.

A Ford Racing collaboration is planned about one week after launch and will arrive through a task-based event.

What Indian players should watch next

One third-party report lists the release as November 12, 2026, but the official Call of Duty announcement gives November 11 at 4:00 p.m. PT. The Indian date is November 12 because of the time-zone conversion.

For Indian searchers, the practical takeaway is simple: the new season starts early on November 12 IST, and Verdansk is the main reason people are talking about the game now.
