What happened

Dafne Keen said on Michael Rosenbaum’s Inside of You podcast that she was offered cocaine at Hollywood wrap parties when she was roughly 11 to 13 years old. She said she declined the offers and did not name the people or the production involved.

Available reports say Keen described seeing what cocaine use involved, which is why she said she had “no interest” in it. The coverage relays her own account and does not suggest that she took the drug.

Why it is trending in the UK

The story is drawing attention because it combines a striking allegation about adult behaviour around a child actor with Keen’s comments about being protected on set. It is also circulating because she spoke warmly about Hugh Jackman, which has added another widely recognised name to the discussion.

As of 5 November 2026, the precise reason for the UK trend is uncertain. The available reports do not give a formal explanation for search activity, but renewed interest in Keen’s recent work has broadened the story’s reach.

Background and context

Keen is now 21 and discussed her childhood acting experiences with host Michael Rosenbaum. She became widely known for playing Laura/X-23 opposite Hugh Jackman in Logan.

Keen said Jackman was a parental figure, gave her positive reinforcement, protected her from behind-the-scenes tensions and made sure nobody abused her working hours on Logan. Reports also associate her with His Dark Materials, The Acolyte, Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Deadpool & Wolverine.
